In 2019 Matthias Berl finished his PhD at ETH Zurich on the studies of new gating approaches for cleaved edge overgrowth quantum wires where he gathered experiences in nanofabrication and low dimensional transport measurements. In 2020, he moved to industry as test engineer at duagon Germany GmbH where he developed software and hardware for the production of embedded computer systems.
