Victor Kemme is currently a research assistant at the group who is strongly interested in the field of quantum computing with superconducting circuits. He obtained his bachelor and master degree in nanosciences at the University of Hamburg. In his bachelor thesis he simulated the optical properties introduced by defects in ZnSe nanocrystals while during his master he worked on optical feedback methods for resonator aided seeding at the FLASH facility. He became a member of Prof. Eichler’s team to contribute to the development of a quantum computer utilizing superconducting technology.
